Passion of the Christ
Jesus was born without sin through Mary, who conceived Him as Virgin.
Christ died without sin, crucified because of teaching the Truth and our countless sins.
This is the day to remember what He has done for us.
He wants us to love like Him.
He doesn't want us to be perfect.
He loves us even before we were born.
He doesn't want us to feel guilty for anything we've done unrighteous.
He has already forgiven us even if we are not sorry for what we've done.
He knows our heart. He knows our desire. He knows our motives in every actions we planned to do. He knows everything about us even without any words.
He knows what we've done wrong yesterday, a day before yesterday, a week after, a month or a year ago, but He never counts it against us and He will never be.
Like those Pharisees and the High Priest, who yelled, "Crucify Him!" in the crowd, Jesus prayed for him until His last breathe.
He entrusts everything to His Father who have sent Him to this sinful world.
Jesus Christ loves us. Died for us. Pray for us to His Father. He became one of us, human. He felt every emotion He has supposed to feel during the execution. A King who became flesh to execute the radical love. Demonstrates the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE He has for us, sinful people!
Hear those people ridicules Him. Envision those nails penetrated to His Holy palm given by the force of heavy hammer pushing the nail against His hand. Feel those crown of thorns placed to His head accompanied by the gushing of blood cause of crown's thorn went through to His forehead's skin. Sense those things that were used to scourge Him. Imagine the weight of His cross He carried while being unceasingly scourged by those strong-manly people. He doesn't deserve those. It was all done out of His love for us. Remember all these things not only today, but everyday of your life. Whenever you feel unloved, know that Someone loves you, even you don't remember Him and ignores Him at times.
Dear, when He said, "I thirst." It was not thirst of water or any form of liquid to replenish His weak body, rather He was thirst of His people's love whom He offered His life wholeheartedly. He is thirst of YOUR LOVE!! ❤
Deuteronomy 6:5
"Love the Lord your God with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength."
