Dear Past Self,

Are you proud of who I become? 

Is this where you planned me to be? 

Have you had any regrets that we should have not done or we should have done better? 

We’ve ran a long road and here where I brought you now. The decisions you have made in the past mold us now as a person. The mistakes you’ve done made us a stronger person today and the good decisions you’ve made brought us the best things in life. The love you shared to the wrong persons made us see the right people to invite in our life now. The pain that caused you sufferings brought us lessons we will forever cherish. The failures you lead yourself into made us successful today and persevere more to build ourself. I do hope somehow I made you proud because all of the life experiences you had were not put into waste and became our greatest teacher of life. 

You’re innocence were robbed at an early stage of life because of world’s wickedness, but look at us now - we are full of wisdom in dealing the so called life. Past self, our life does not end here yet. We still have a journey to travel, a person to love, a lives to touch and a pain to feel. You were young when you made your goals, I am sorry but in some part of our life I made detours and this might not be the place where you want us to be but rest assured that we won’t stop until we get there. Change of plans and goals aren’t bad. We just have to make sure to do the right choices for us to reach our destination. Past self, leave this to me and we will get there soon - the person we want us to be. 

We might have had many unexpected mistakes in the past, but I’d like you to know regrets has no place for us. We did what we did and said what we said. I forgive you and I am setting you free, Past self. You are loved. You are forgiven. Stop putting yourself in prison of the past that we cannot change. Things happened and we have to live a new life together with no guilt and regrets to move forward. Let us stop thinking the things that we should have done and we should have not done in the past where we can no longer bring back. Past self, you are worthy of a million second chances for you are worth dying for. Help me now to live life to the fullest not in regrets. Remember this, your mistakes does not define you, it is who we are now and who we will be. 

Thank you for the color you put into our life, Past self. Without your stupid mistakes we wouldn’t have a story to tell. You did a good job!
